mabelmoments:

An imprint of an owl is left on a window pane after the bird crashed into the window. Sally Arnold returned home to Kendal, Cumbria, and found the huge imprint complete with eyes, beak and feathers on her bedroom window. The silhouette was left by the bird’s ‘powder down’ - a substance protecting growing feathers.

Tribute to Bobby
This is Bobby. He adopted me in October 1981 when I was 28 years old. He passed on this day, May 5th of 1995 at the age of 17 years when I was 42 years old. He was my best friend. All the pictures of me in our family albums, you will see him in my lap, by my side or at my feet. We found each other with just one day left before he was to be put down at the animal shelter. He would not let the staff near him to even give him food. But when we saw one another, he came right to me. The front desk clerk’s eyes almost popped out when I walked up to the front desk, with him in my arms, to pay for the adoption fee, then she told me how nobody was even able to get near him. Yes, he has been gone 16 years, but I still miss him dearly. This photo is the one I keep in this frame on my desk at work to this day. I miss and love you, my little man. He will be buried with me when my day comes. My hand will be resting on the little cedar box that contain his ashes, for all eternity.
